Unable to use Force Focus

I am playing Jedi survivor on ps5. I am at the part where you are being shot at by 2 turrets and a locked door in front of you. The force focus just isn’t working at all. Can’t slam can’t do anything with it. I’ve tried resetting the controls resetting the console the game everything it just doesn’t work. I’ve even tried remapping it to another button and it doesn’t work. Please fix this issue as it has happened to others.
