Can't finish the ninth sister fight

I'm onto the final phase of the fight with the ninth when it tells you to 'automatically parry most attacks...'.  . Usually it would tell you to hold triangle on ps5 but it isn't telling me to hold anything and the game completely freezes. I have looked it up and tried everything but nothing seems to work. Help as I can't do anything and I feel like **bleep**.
