Why can't I install Jedi Survivor without getting an error message?

I've got the same problem but it was already downloaded on my D drive, then one day I logged in and it wouldn't start the game and said I needed to repair the game file.

then when I tried to repair it, this happened

@GGgod614I started having this problem yesterday too, so I uninstalled the game in my apps instead of EA play, and attempted to download it again on my D drive like the first time. It's downloading fine now!

So I uninstalled it from my apps, reinstalled it and it worked fine for 2 days

then the same problem happened and it says I have to repair it again and it's now giving me the haywire error message and can't repair it.

Going to uninstall it but hopefully its not just the 2 of us with this problem and it's something they can fix as I don't want to keep having to uninstall and reinstall 130gb every time I want to play :')

I am also facing this same issue. The process downloads the full 130 GB and then is stuck at the Wrapping up stage, where I think it is installing or unpacking the files. Keeps doing Preparing goes immediately to 67% and then preparing again. This repeats multiple time and then the "Something Went wrong error" message. I do not think there is any known fix for this and I read somewhere else this is happening only with Jedi Survivor. Someone downloaded Jedi Fallen Order and it downloaded and worked fine. No choice but to wait for a fix.

EA/Respawn - Can you guys please look into this? This is a breaking issue where we're unable to install or launch the game itself.

Thanks for letting us know about install issues with Jedi Survivor. Can we try the following steps? 

• EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) 
• Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates  
• Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
• Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
• Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server) 
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  

If this continues please let us know the following:

Are you getting an error message?

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?

Is anything else happening?

Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:

If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

If on PC, please share a DxDiag (Allows us to get PC Spec's, Check for errors/crashes, and look at drivers)

Exactly the same thing is happening to me. I reinstalled the app and uninstalled the game a couple of times and still, the game is not being installed after downloading. You guys need to seriously take a look at the state of this game, this is unacceptable.

@EA_Illium  To confirm, this is an issue even when the game has been installed and played before. Then I log on one day, the game says the files need repairing and I can't play it. The repair does not complete and gets stuck at 67% and says "something went haywire". 

clearing the cache does not work. At best, I am then able to uninstall and reinstall the game and after 2-4 tries it lets me install the game and play it. Then once I turn off my PC and back on again it is back to needing repair and not working.

it's not a DNS, LAN issue.

other applications are not limiting it.

all drivers, windows and GPU updates are installed.

This is a PC issue. I'm in the UK, has been happening at least for 1 week
