Account Recovery Request – Compromised Account Linked to Steam
Dear SWTOR Customer Support,
I am contacting you because I need help recovering my SWTOR account.
In December 2025, my email account was compromised in a hacking incident. As a result, several of my accounts linked to that email were affected.
About a year later, I tried to return to the game, but I was unable to access my account. I no longer receive any verification or password reset emails at the original email address, which leads me to believe that the email associated with my SWTOR account was changed by the person who gained unauthorized access.
As a last resort, I created a new SWTOR account using my current email address. However, I still cannot play because my Steam account remains linked to the old SWTOR account, and I have no way to unlink it myself.
If possible, I would like to recover my original account or have it reassigned to the email address I am using to send this message. If recovering the account is not possible, I would greatly appreciate any assistance in unlinking my Steam account from the compromised SWTOR account so that I can use it with my new account.
To summarize:
