Account security key, display name, or recovery code is invalid/expired.

Question

I'm getting the error in the subject like "Account security key, display name, or recovery code is invalid/expired." when I try to reset/recover the password for my old SWTOR account. Stopped playing a few years ago and decided to get back into it with some friends.

I really don't want to start from scratch and the chat bot was border line useless. I never got to the screen to request a one-time password because of that error.

Update: I had to call the support phone number. Apparently it wanted an authentication key. They removed it and I am back in!

Hello stitch2k9​&nbsp;Can you attach a screenshot of the error?&nbsp; What happens if you go to swtor.com in your browser and on the login choose forgot your Display Name?

I did try it in several browsers and wiped the browser history, caches, etc. with the same result. I am concerned they "nuked" my account because I stopped playing before teh sale to Broadsword. I don't have the log in client installed at the moment and wanted to restore the log in credentials via the web first before I did the install.
