[Bug] Character models won't load
Hey, folks.
I recently made the decision to give SWTOR another chance (woo!) but, as my presence on this forum and not in-game proves, there has been a very profound issue (boo!). The game has downloaded and patched with, allegedly, no bugs but I can't help but notice a rather huge one: Character models aren't loading!
For example, on the character screen, I can select my characters but no model loads. I can even load the game and run around but, you guessed it, I'm invisible and so are 99% of people around me! Some NPCs do seem to load, however, which confuses me even further. It's almost as if my character model just doesn't exist.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced similar and has a fix or if it's as I fear and something to do with my graphics card. My graphics card can run Warcraft and countless other MMOs without difficulty, so I'm hesitant to say this is the case but if it's not a bug I guess it might be. This would be terrible if it is the case, as I -was- going to re-subscribe to SWTOR but will not be playing if it's the graphics card due to the fact it can play all these other games.

Run a game repair initially, you likely have streaming launcher
Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcherother then that can you post a dxdiag per this link if the repair doesnt help
