Nothing is overly obvious in the dxdiag apart from what i put in that post.

edit- try a clean boot per this link too , if the launcher behaves go from there, the bitraider services will need to be left enabled if using streaming.

Thanks for the detailed help. Its far better than the other suggestions I have received I responded to your reddit response about not understanding how to update my sound driver on my mother board...but I did update my BIOS all together (unfortunately I am still getting the error)

i have updated my DXDiag here as well (after the changes)

For some reason the lsuncher thinks the system is below its minimum game requirements, what we need to try and ascertain is what and why.

If you press the windows key and type reliability and open the reliability history , see what is being listed at present.

What is the model motherboard ? I presumed it is something like a asus maximus hero

under Critical Events it seems to be just iCloud Photo Stream and ATKEX_cmd.exe Stopped working over and over again. It shows the last time I tried to start up SWTOR and its failure

under Warnings it has Realtek Semiconductor Corp. Media (Failed Windows Update)

under Informational Events it just shows the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables I recently reinstalled (something suggested by a forum post somewhere else)

It seems that things aren't recognizing my DirectX features even though Windows shows them as enabled.

I tried Fortnite and it failed once and when I retried it to get the error it worked.

I then tried to play Ring of Elysium from Steam and it gave me this error. (D3D init failed, error no:8876086a. Try to reinstall DirectX and upgrade your graphics card driver, which is generally checked by DxDiag.)

I have done another clean install of the graphics driver and tried a DirectX update, but it shows me as up-to-date

open a command prompt as administrator 

so windows key and type cmd , command prompt should be listed , right mouse click and select run as administrator 

type in the command prompt

sfc /scannow and press enter

see what tha tcomes back with

the atkexcmd is realtek sound, what is the exact motherboard model ?

Once  the scan is done 

press the windows key and type services  and select services (desktop app) in the services look for a service called asComSvc

if it is there disable it and then restart the PC and see if any affect on that error appearing, this should actually not have any affect on the sound.

I don't see that service in there.
