The stretch with the bridges is taking me down to 40, rest floating around 60, sometimes 50. Settings max, except for shadows, shadows are high but at lowest map resolution and cascades. Grass viewdistance medium, Player viewdistance medium.

Sounds about right, I gather you have vsynch enabled to cap at 60 ? if so along with pre-rendered frames turn the triple buffer on, if vsynch is off turn triple buffer off , whilst triple buffer is more OpenGL I have seen testing that had an affect also in directx

I can't turn vsync on. There's an issue with some of the 900 series where there's diagonal screen tearing in games when vsync is on. It's a gamebreaking issue that Nvidia has failed to fix for ages.

Least they have a fix in the works out soon by the looks ..... their bugs appearing are just like swtor patches recently 😇

FPS looked better, Noshadows seemed to dip down to 16 at the worst, slightly more frequently for with shadows, but shadowless managed to get 25+ more frequently it seems.

If you turn name plate scaling off you will get a likely big improvement , but well nameplates will be huge .....
The Swtor UI is Adobe Scaleform just an older version

hmm, probably won't do that.
Regardless, seems smoother in PvP, not sure how it'll raid 🙂 thanks for all the help!

Two things from me, look at the shadow map, thats seems to a big part of the problemwith shadows.
Turn Nameplates for friendly NPC and Players off, if not done already.

Hey proxos,
I had a page up with a complaint that you helped me answer, but I have a MacBook Pro and I posted the specs of my comp, do you really think it could run it with those specifications? Because I tried to download it and it took up too much memory, let me know.
Thanks
