Cannot Access Cargo Hold

I have a friend that gave me a Cargo Hold Access (Account) unlock. I have a level 31 character and my account is a free-to-play account. I cannot access the cargo hold. I would like to know why.

  • Did you use the item? If didn't, it should be in your inventory or shows uncliam status.

    There is an issue with unlocks, can you advise if that unlock has appeared in the unclaimed section of the cartel market, even though it wasnt from the CM ?

  • I actually did check the unclaimed items section, and yes it is there. Why is it there? Again, I apologize for my ignorance, but I am a free account because I don't have the money to pay monthly so I'm unfamiliar with how the cartel market works.

    @watchdog762

    The unlock you have is bugged , any unlocks that existed prior to the server merge are affected.

    See this example link, it applies to all unlocks.

    Send an email to support@swtor.com and detail swtor username , server and character that unlock is with.

    Link this thread in the email and mention that you hold a bugged unlock and would like it replaced/fixed.

    They will get to this email but unfortunately due to the holidays it may take around a week to get this resolved.

    Once they respond if it is not sorted correctly post back here and can assist from there 

  • I tried to contact ea through their support email, they tell me to call, then the representative tells me they don't handle in-game problems. Apparently ea couldn't care less about their free account players, so I'm back.

    It will be a mis-communication they should not have told you to call as you are correct calling does not handle ingame issues, @EA_Kat  are you able to have a look at what has occurred with this and advise ?
