Can't enter verification-code for Security Key on new phone
I'm a sub, but the usual channels have so far been less than helpful.
Got new phone, followed the steps as instructed by the EA FAQ: removed key from account, removed key-app from phone, installed key-app on new phone and attempted to register. This is where it got tricky...
When prompted to enter a verification key the in-phone keyboard only displays numpad keys, making it really hard to enter a key containing letters. Furthermore, trying to copy/paste it doesn't work, as the letters are filtered out. The comment section on the Android app-store is littered with this issue.
I've tried raising a ticket in-game and got the reply that they don't handle app-support, with somewhat of a shrug.
I've scoured the FAQ on EA's support-page and haven't found this issue anywhere.
I've tried a google-search and only found issues resetting the key and similar issues.
I've tried sending a mail for support through the app-store, only to recieve an auto-reply directing me to the damn FAQ I checked in the first place.
I even spent 45 minutes trying to reach their support through Skype without them even picking up the call...
Does anyone know of a solution, because this is aggravating me to no end.
