Can't log into Swtor Forum!

Hi,

since February 2023 I'm experiencing a severe login problem on the Swtor forum hompage.

I wrote a thread about it on the Swtor bug report page but never got a reply ( I was able to log in twice after about 20 / 50 tries)

Here is what I wrote:

I'm experiencing something like a bug on the forum.

When I log in to the homepage , I can't write on the forum!

To do so I need to log in to the forum as well.

After that I get an error message that something went wrong and that I should try it again.

Finally after about 20 tries I'm able post on the forum.

The problem is getting worse!!!!!!!

I loged in to the homepage and tried to enter the forum, all I got was a message that I'm a guest and that I can't enter the forum without an account.

So I tried to to log in to the forum as well and got an error message!

50 attemps later I was able to enter the forum.

Can someone please check what's going on with the forum login???

So I was able to log in and report a severe launcher problem yesterday, but today it's the same old story as many times before.

"Something went wrong! Please try again!

Klicking on the SWTOR.LOGIN button doesn't solve the problem and I need to delete the cookies or I won't be able to return to the login page.

I used both of my browers (Firefox / Edge), but got the same problem on each of them.

Even deactivating my ad blocker and Bitdefender anti tracking tool didn't help.

I'm a Swtor subscriber since 2012 and never had a problem to log in to the forum.

Ps: I'm using Windows 11 Home.

    @desplaines 

    Need to know the swtor username / displayname ? 

    Support found the account Desplain and have no issues logging into the forums on that account 

    try using incognito mode with chrome or delete the web browser cache and cookies and retry

    Desplain is correct (only Swtor).

    The inprivate modus worked for Edge and Firefox.

    I still have some questions:

    - I'm able to log in to my account (using a regular browser window) for buying cartel coins, entering a redeem code aso, but

      when I try to switch to the forum (settings aso) I get a message that I'm only a guest.

      Why do I get this message?

    - Why does the forum only work with the inprivate mode (just deleting the cache and cookies doesn't work)?

    - I opened the "devices" option in the forum settings and it showed me several open sessions

      (for every time I tried to log in).

      I had to close these session manually.

      Is this maybe a bug?

    And here we go again!

    I wanted to post a bug and can't log in to the forum!

    Even inprivate doesn't work anymore!!!!!

    To log in to my account works just fine, but the forum login is broken again.

    It's imparative that I can post the new bug which broke several grapics and decorations after update 7.3!

    Thanks for your help and the suggestion to post the bug report on the EA forum. 🙂

    I finally managed to enter the Swtor forum by using my old Windows 7 pc (needed the inprivate modus as well).

    I had to close several open forum sessions which seemed to be the result of the weird forum website behavior 

    (experienced this open session thing every time I had these problems).

    By the way I presume that the closed session from Ireland has been you or the Swtor team

    (I'm using a token to protect my account which means that nobody else than EA/Bioware or I can enter my account).
