Can't Subscribe to SWOTOR

All,

I'm just trying to resubscribe to the game after a long time away.

I've already read a lot of the forum posts. I've reset both my SWTOR and EA account passwords, updated all information on both accounts so it matches and is up-to-date, I've tried doing this on multiple browsers and nothing is helping.

This is the error code:

"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance." 

Any of the support links just seem to be a giant circle.

Any ideas?

    This was resolved by SWTOR support at:

    I called the number there:

    USA: 1 (855) 345 2186

    Originally I had called and it went to some automated disconnection line most likely due to the holiday time even though the day wasn't actually a holiday. I called again after the holiday and they took care of the issue.

    I opened my account 13 or so years ago and used a different email that I no longer have access to (college email) for that EA account. Now I have a new EA account under my normal email, but somewhere deep in their system its still tied to that old EA account. Since a password reset was needed, the only way was for them to manually force a password reset email to an alternate email account which ALSO couldn't be the email used for my current EA account. Once that went through I just had the standard billing issues with various credit cards, but on my 3rd credit card I finally got one to go through.

  • Just an update on this. I've reset the passwords multiple times now to no avail. I also can't purchase any cartel coins.
