Can't subscribe to SWTOR - "Maintenance" screen

I've been trying to subscribe to SWTOR for weeks now and keep getting the same "Maintanance" screen saying "SWTOR.com is temporarily unavailable as we are experiencing extremely high traffic.". I tried sending e-mails via other channels but didn't get any response. I can't seem to be able to create a ticket in-game, since I'm on "Prefered" status and Brazil is not listed in the calling service supported countries so I have no other form of contact to ask for support. Can anyone please send some instructions?

    Is this for the swtor username guipcmello ?

    if so that account appears fine , would recommend trying with incognito mode on chrome, as it can be a cache / cookie issue with the webbrowser

  • Hi Owen Brooks, 

    I am observing the same issue with my account. I have tried all the steps of the issue resolution. (1. reset EA password, 2. Try different browsers and different devices). After all steps, I am still not able to subscribe. Could you help me out? My account name = MrErikos

    @MrErikosM 

    You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona mrerikos (not MrErikosM) that account uses a cool hotmail email

    use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword  then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing

    for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

    Thank you very much. Apparently, the EA account was still linked to an old email address. I was resetting my currently-used mail for the password reset. 

    Your solution solved the issue. Thank you very much. I am able to subscribe now.
