Try repairing the game, this may fix the problem.
If your launcher shows ST in the bottom left corner, close the launcher. Then go the folder where you have SWTOR installed and delete the "BitRaider" folder. Now start the launcher again and it will automatically check and repair the files.
If it doesn't show ST, you can use the Repair function within the launcher. Just click on the settings buttons and then click on repair (this only works after logging in).

I just tried your "Fix"...now it will not recognize my login/password
See the known issues sticky here for map crash with intel drivers , still trying to determine which driver is currently working for this issue.
