Dead account suddenly updated?

I received an e-mail yesterday from [edit: email address removed] that says my account has been "successfully updated". 

The e-mail also provides a link, which I didn't click. To figure things out I asked to reset my password via the SWTOR login site, and promptly received another e-mail from the same address that also provides the same link as far as I can see - which makes me think the first e-mail is legit.

But I haven't played SWTOR for over 10 years, so why did I receive this mail? What was updated? Is my account somehow compromised? I have not noticed anything else suspicious.
