Just ran repairs on all my x86 c++ installs, downloaded the 2 pending windows updates (1 of which was a .net update), and I had already done a clean boot before. Sadly the game still would not work even with everything disabled in the clean boot environment.

can you post the contents of the client_setting file as well
might be worth putting the nvidia driver in debug mode for now too
