Game Crashes at Start Up

So I log into the launcher and it goes to a loading screen and not even 5s pass and it crashes with no error prompt or anything-

I've already looked at a few of the faq/forums posted to edit some files for resoultion and refresh rate,  I've already verified game files. I've done a clean boot- my gpu drivers are up to date and so is windows.  My systems meets the min specs-

So- im sorta lost on what to do, below is the diag performed thru the swtordiag

  • Initially i would try and free up more space on the C drive, swtor when it starts up will create 2 temporary cache files and given C drive is down to 600mb it may not be enough to create the files

can you post the contents of the client_setting file as detailed in this guide

on a side note the dxdiag only shows component store corruption, to resolve that open a command prompt as administrator and run the system file checker

    sfc /scannow

I have the same problem and I have 500 gigs free on my hard drive. This game is broken. I have removed all mods. Did a clean install. did not reinstall mods. and no matter what it crashes.

Well either sfc or the freeing up space worked- thanks for the assist!

  • I also free'd up 120gb and ran sfc

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
