Another one yet again boys, I am trying to launch the game for the 100th time these past few days and yet again I can't open the game. The launcher- no problems what so ever, easy to open and easy to deal with. As soon as I type in my PW and DN and press "Play" nothing happens. I have both the Steam and Non-Steam version. Need some help here, I have updated my computer and yet it won't work.
I have the same problem. Tried the solution of setting the game compatibility to Windows XP service pack 3 and disable desktop composition. It worked at first but I doesn't work anymore
I can log into any account after pressing Play, but the game always crashes after pressing Play if I try logging into any other account.
The issue was duplicated on two different PCs, both running Windows 7.
The issue does not exist on Windows 10.
Launcher was reinstalled/repaired, Installation was verified/repaired, game was fully uninstalled and reinstalled. Issue persists.
The issue is not specific to any account. After successfully logging into one account, I could no longer log into any subsequent accounts after clicking Play.
The following solution worked for me.
"Here are two workarounds that should help players on Windows 7 who encounter the C1/C7 error.
After logging in once, I restored the settings to normal. But then this switched which account was "stuck". Now I can log into Account 2 but not Account 1. Admin w/XP SP3 Compatibility seemed to be the fix for me.

I Found the solution guys, all you have to do is set chrome as default browser in windows settings so when you click "play" on origin it opens in chrome, I also installed the chrome extension but I'm not sure if this made the difference.
