Gold Mobs Missing Drops

I've noticed that some but not all Gold mobs seem to have a much lower drop rate than they did before one of the recent patches. Especially on Yavin, the mobs will die and not drop anything at all while the other tiers of mobs will. I thought initially that they weren't ever dropping loot but it seem they are just very rarely. My guess is that the chances for loot dropping got much lower recently.

It's frustrating when I kill a gold mob, which takes me longer to kill, then get nothing. Those mobs slow me down in doing what I went to the planet to do and then don't reward the extra effort. I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but I would appreciate it being changed either way.
