Hide Head Slot Glitch

In order to be able to readjust the setting again would either to do one of the following since it's now locked:

1. Sub for at least a month to allow you to change it back
2. Purchase the Head Slot Authorization unlock from either the Cartel Market directly or the GTN which will give a preferred player the ability to adjust that setting.

You sir are helpful and have answers but unfortunately not the one I seek. Am I to resign to the fact that because I forgot to un-toggle a setting before letting my sub run out that I can effectively never wear a hat on my character again short of coughing up more money to this game?

Unfortunately the toggle locks out if you either aren't a sub or have the unlock.  If you have any cartel coins the unlock currently is 350 for a character or 775 for an entire account unlock for all characters and can be purchased through the Cartel Market directly with those coins

I'm not in game at the moment but the unlock can also be purchased in the in-game GTN for in-game credits if you don't have any cartel coins or not enough.  You would need to check your server GTN prices to see how much the unlock is going through.

A problem.

Every time at a random date of the week my hide head slot engages on SWTOR.

It is highly annoying since I'm not a member and haven't bought the option to it,so i cant fix it 

I just want to keep my helmet on instead of off.

could you guys be of any help?

well i have the same problem and for me it seems to fix itself by entering a cantina and talk to your companions.

basically anything that heads your headslot in a cutscene will sometimes fix it

I suspected the issue had something to do with the game automatically removing some head gear during cutscenes. I'm glad you figured out a workaroud though! Sadly with small bugs like these, it's either a matter of finding a workaround or waiting for it to be addressed in a patch.
