I have been playing since January and Shae is my #1 preferred companion. Now she appears under 'Other contacts" and I am unable to select her. I spent a lot of money on the cartel market making her armor and weapons just how I wanted them, not to mention the paint job. It took me MANY hours. Please fix this and return Shae to me!

Did you ever had Shae Vizla as a companion? (From Eternal Throne pre-order or through the SWTORCompanionChaos), you can write an email to support@swtor.com , to get your companion back.
Are you able to summon her if you go to the fleet? Some story chapters will lock you out of specific companions until you complete the story chapter and this may be the case here. Try going to the fleet and seeing if you can summon her.
