I do not know what to say to help at present
208 is normally a net issue and hence why you found a proxy helped.
If it persists in the game folders is a log folder with launcher logs , attaching the latest log for review would be handy.
See if it comes good otherwise will need to consider closely what is occurring

The bitraider log was switching to audit for some reason, SSN is not showing corruption but it is having issues getting the manifest.
Ensure your not using a proxy of any kind at present
those 208 , 211 errors may be a net issue but they may also be Antivurs/Firewall caused
Remove and re-add the exception for launcher.exe to the exception lists
Ensure the game shortcut is running as administrator
ESET - disable protocol filtering
Kaperskey - disable scan secure connections
Nortons (Firewall) set exceptions to "Allow" instead of "Auto"
See if this helps at all at present
I think this log is more complete.
now my proxy is off and I didn't get an network error (and I already ensured its not caused by firewall/antivirus + running launcher as admin)
right now (and sense I posted here for the first time) I'm still patching. will update when its done.
