My launcher is stuck at 0%?

I cant get the launcher on my desktop...

whenever I try to download it from the site it doesn't show up on my desktop and brings me straight to the launcher...

Hey turtle, sorry to see you back....

Understanding that you are not exactly computer savvy, it may be easier if you just PM me a Skype contact, click on my name you will see my profile, then at the top you will see a little envelope, click on that .. now you will be looking at the EA private message board, give it a top then in the big blank white window please type out your skype contact name for me to search and add you.

did you check your downloads folder for the SWTOR executable file ? if it's there it'll have SWTOR_setup

Try the steps here  the link that Sailorpantie linked will likely solve it as well but that is a new game download and best if nothing else seems to work.

None of the solutions you guys are giving really match up to what i'm dealing with, but I did find the folder that says SWTOR _setup in downloads..

So you don't have the game installed ?

Both the client_settings edit and the unspecified error steps have both been known to help with stuck at 0% on a game patch.

If you have never installed and running the setup from www.swtor.com/download then go to clean boot  and see if it behaves , if it does after install follow the directions to return to normal boot

I followed the steps that it showed me, not much of a difference here...
