Not able to play old account from steam launcher

Question

Hi I played this game a long time ago and I wanted to come back, I have download it from steam and launch it from steam when I try to login to my old account, I get the following message.

We can't log you in. Please double-check you're using the Steam account you usually play on and try again.

On my old account, accessing from the game website I don't have a steam account linked.

I understand that there may be a swtor account linked to my steam, I would swear it's impossible, but is there any way to unlink the current account linked to steam without having no idea what account it is or anything.

I have also purchased content in the steam store for this game that will have been redeemed in the associated steam account, so I would like to know what account I have in steam not unlink it in fact.

best to call swtor support when the lines are open and see if they can locate another swtor account with any information you can provide them

you can also input any emails you have and see if it shows another account https://signin.swtor.com/en/recover/displayname
