I’m sorry, but this entire support experience has been completely unacceptable — especially coming from a company as large as EA.
Yesterday I tried contacting phone support through several regional numbers with my neighbor's phone, and every attempt failed:
- The German line didn’t have any English-speaking support staff.
- The French line also didn’t offer English support.
- The UK and US lines both gave me an automated message saying that “all employees are busy and unavailable,” and then simply hung up instead of placing me on hold or giving me a callback option.
Each of these attempts cost me additional call charges, and I still haven’t been able to reach a single representative.
This is absolutely not the kind of support experience one should expect from a global, multi-billion-dollar company. I’m being forced to repeatedly call expensive international phone numbers, only to get disconnected or turned away because there’s no English-language assistance.
I’ve already tried reaching out via email multiple times, and was told every time to “call support,” even though I’ve clearly explained that I cannot make international calls from my provider.
At this point, I’m seriously considering filing formal complaints with the appropriate consumer authorities, as this kind of support setup feels predatory — especially when there are no working alternatives like live chat or proper email assistance for paying customers.
I truly hope this issue can be escalated and resolved soon, because this entire experience has been beyond disappointing.
