Re: cannot login due to security key

To remove the security key you will need to go to swtor.com and go to log into your account.  Fill in the Display Name and Password fields but leave the Security Key field blank.  Next click Login and it will take you to the attached screen.

Click on the link that says Lost your security key? and then follow the steps to receive a one time password to remove it.  Once removed you can add a new one using the security key app for any iPhone / Android.

If you don't see the attached link, make sure you don't have any browser add-ons enabled that might block or hide the link and ensure your browser is up to date or try another browser.

    Ya i saw the threads on that, but when i tdo the first step of logging in it just refreshes at the login screen i cant get to the screen i cant click forgot security key, thats on chrome, on IE i do it snd it just beings me back to swtor.com

    I was patching atm of when i first was talking to you, was trying to logon on swtor.com, will try again in about an hour on the actual client/launcher

    Make sure your browser has no add one that may be blocking it.

    Also if it's just refreshing the screen you may not have a security key.

    I would recommend calling customer service to verify and if there is one they can remove it for you.

    ok that says for banned or suspended accounts, i wasnt banned, but i havent played in a few years, so mayb it was suspended? i was a premier subscriber for many years and had multiple toons topped out with best pvp and pve gear. i will send an email. thanks
