Re: Customer Service won't reset security code and refer me to subscriber lines

Thanks but that link is sending to an email account I closed down ages ago (and as can be seen with the disconnect with EA it wasn't updated with my Origin account), frankly even with VOIP rates i'm not waiting until 2am for the UK line to open and paying to deal with more incompetent support staff for a F2P game.

    @Darth-Bogan

    There will be an EA/Origin account associated with that swtor account, if you can gain access to that account and update the email address it should update the swtor account per this link

    To have a 5 or 10 minute phone call or not is a decision only you can make, there is always the option to make a new account and start over

    It's only the one account as password hasn't changed, I just think there was an error in SW:TOR only having a display name and not being linked to my current email (BTW link on that page is dead). EA Help say they can't find a mail id under my previous address so unless I hang around until 2AM and call the UK (no landline with our glorious NBN) then it looks like i'm out of options.

    I found the broken link you mentioned and have reported it cheers

    Looks like calling is the only way to go, I have heard that bioware support are helpful on the phone.
