    I have the same problem.

I was told by SWTOR support to buy a game card from Amazon when my credit cards were not accepted (same card I used when I subscribed before and purchased Cartel Coins).

So I did. I am sub'd now. But, I cannot use any of my credit cards to purchase Cartel Coins. I cannot use any of my credit cards to add as payment on my Origin account either.

When I contacted SWTOR support again, I was told there's a problem with my Origin account being banned or suspended. I had no clue this was the case.

I chatted online with an Origin rep who told me he was putting in a request to investigate my suspended account. I still haven't heard back from Origin.

I just want to spend my money! Lol 😃

    Help.

Thanks for the additional information @Xyis00. Fingers crossed for your Origin account to be unlocked quickly.

  • The problem takes a few days but fixes it self...atleast did for me. A huge shame that subscriptions can renew because of this and it makes you not eligable for subscription rewards.

    Solved:

I got an email saying my Origin account was disabled until I spoke to a Customer Service rep online or on the phone. I quickly logged on and started up an online chat. The representative was very nice, but stated he would start another ticket for me to see why my account was banned or suspended.

I explained this was no bueno because it was the second time already and this problem was coming up on week two. I asked for a phone number. He set it up for me to get a call back. Literally within a minute, I got a call. After a few verificatons and changes to my account security, I was up and running.

I got to spend my money! 😃 👍

    Lol.

TL;DR - If this happens to you, call EA.

  • I tried two different cards with the same rusult!!! "We're sorry, but we can't perform transactions to this credit card. Please load a different one." what's going on with that subscription? Tech. support lines in UK are always buisy!! how can i solve that problem alone, can u tell me?

  • @Pablo_Corales I, too, as an upset Canadian who wants to drown his misery in Hutt stuff, would like to know this. I remember being able to subscribe after a few days the last time this happened (half a year ago, I believe) but I don't remember how I got it to work. This error is massively infuriating.
  • I have this issue now, tried everything i have seen from similar post's.

Contacted support on phone, they said everything ok with the account, its bank / card related issue.

Contacted bank, they said they see no failed transaction, its failed on website, not reached the stage where it could have been failed because of bank or card.

Also was able to buy other thing with the card, after the fails in swtor.com purchase, so its not card issue.

Have seen others recommended to log into EA account, log into Origin, reset password there, did all, still not works.

Unfortunately game time from amazon not a possibility as im not living in the USA.

Was able to buy sub on steam ofc, as card works properly as i said, but not added to my account.

Just deleted the steam version and redownloaded the game again from swtor.com.

I dont care about the wasted money on steam, i just want to be able to sub again.

I wrote to [edit: email address removed] and i hope some result from there.

But if anybody have some other recommendation i can try, im all ears.

    @captain07raul

there is a known issue with credit cards from denmark if relevant , in cases like this attaching the card to paypal will alllow you to purchase on swtor.com

need the swtor account/displayname to check the swtor account for issues

  • Thank you for your answer.

However i belive Swtor support handling it already now. They wrote back to my e-mail fast and said to call them again what i did.

They will look into the issue and also grant the steam sub time in the meantime.

It turned out way easier to receive it than i expected based on angry steam comments.

So i hope it will be solved sooner or later, and i just need tp wait maybe a bit more to be able to play again.

I refuse to play as preferred, so i will have to wait for the steam time granted or the issue solved, whichever happens earlier.

    @captain07raul

    swtor account / displayname ?

Support have an email from you in the queue, just need to wait for their reply

Glad to hear gametime was added

If this is a recurring subscription, you will need to cancel the swtor subscription in your steam account , it can be repurchased once the gametime that support adds ends
