with the launcher closed delete any patch folders see if that helps first

@proxos666 Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't able to try your suggestion as my PC got right after a blue screen from updating NVIDIA Game Ready and just like that I was left out of my system permanently. I had to send my machine for repairs and now everything seems ok. Thanks again.
