running into strange lag issues while playing..

Hi

Wondered if this would be the right place for this.

today I tried playing my sith toon on red eclipse (EU) but found the game unplayable as i had unusually excessive  lag.I had played last night  (uk time) whith no major issue.  looked into some older forum posts and downloaded pingplotter to see if the issue is mine or  the game servers but it seems to be neither (see attached Png). the problem seems to lie  on the level3 servers which i assume is infrastructure. is there a way round it or am i going to have to just sit tight until level3 gets there act together?

With the launch of the new expansion there are more players on, which will increase server lag. If it is indeed a routing issue you could try troubleshooting the problem with your ISP.

Try using the free trial of www.wtfast.com, if it helps in the short term then it is less issues when you play currently, all going well the problem will be gone before the trial ends.

If it is still persisting try www.reducethelag.com it also has a free trial and give you more reprieve all going well.

Same problems for me, I have traced the problem to be a company called level3, that is some sort of a telecommunication company through which the swtor data/connection goes through. They are giving me thousands of server lag everywhere, Strongholds, every planet, every location, every character, on The Progenitor EU server. It's making my game totally unplayable, DC'ing all the time, yet every single other internet using program/game works perfectly on the side. It has -nothing- to do with my computer/connection. I have contacted BW customer service for this, yet they always answer with the same automatic reply of ''Try to use our troubleshooting'', which I've tried, every single suggestion, nothing helped, its SO frustrating, since I JUST resubbed, I'm paying for their game that I'm not even able to play anymore. I contacted level3 through their facebook page, and they answered, asked me to contact my own ISP (Internet Service Provider), I did, and they said they arent able to help. How is this fair for a paying customer of Bioware/EA?

I also tried WTFast, which didnt help at all.
