Sealed Collectors Edition code not valid

Hello,

I bought the Collectors Edition which came shipped with a sealed steelbox containing the code and DVDs. Whenever I try to redeem the code, it says "The product code you entered is not valid.".

So it hasnt been redeemed already, its just flat out invalid. Do these codes expire?

Is there anything that can be done? I can provide Images of the box/steel case/printed code on flyer to support.
