Servers disappeared

Hello!

I have a problem with servers in game. When I entering the game I see an empty server list, but on swtor.com when check server status they all are working. I’ve uploaded a photo of my problem below.

Most common cause of this is usually antivirus or firewall , ensure both launcher.exe and swtor.exe have full access , even best to remove and re-add exceptions.

it can also be caused if different compatibility have been applied to both launcher.exe and swtor.exe , no server list can be what occurs.

I just started having this exact same problem but its not an issue with my firewall- I've allowed both the main .exe program and the launcher and that didn't work and I've flat out turned off the firewall, and that didn't work. I've also done this on two separate ISP networks.  I've also reinstalled the game twice.  All had no effect.  Any other suggestions on how to fix this?

what antivirus and firewall do you use ? have you ensured no compats exist on the game shortcut, launcher.exe and swtor.exe

In case it matters the following also applies for the following antivirus

    ESET - disable protocol filtering

Kaperskey - disable scan secure/encrypted connections

Nortons (Firewall) set to "Allow" not "Auto" can auto block

It would be unusual for this issue to be a internet issue but testing with a VPN would indicate this is the case.

Cool, thanks, how would I check to make sure about making sure that no compats exist?  I have Norton's antivirus which I don't think has a firewall- at least it doesn't have any option for it in the settings window. I just downloaded the Norton yesterday and I had the program before then so I don't think that would be the (sole) issue.

I'm guessing it could also be something with a network firewall?

    Thanks for the help!

What version of nortons are you using ? dont worry about compats for the moment

Maybe this link will help , you need to have both launcher.exe and swtor.exe in the exception lists to be certain it isnt causing issues.

how to do that for your setup is difficult so can only really offer pointers

It just says "Norton AntiVirus" even when I go to my online account page so I'm guessing that's the basic version? When I go to the detailed settings page, there isn't a firewall option.

ensure both launcher.exe and swtor.exe are listed in the exception list for nortons and also the list for your firewall, and yes a network firewall can also cause this potentially.

    swtor.exe is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor\retailclient

    launcher.exe is at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic
