Hello I'm unable to subscribe at the moment. When I try it states that the site is under maintenance. I had a friend just subscribe next to me with a new account. I tried swapping browsers. Swapping devices. Changing my password. Connecting with a VPN. No change each time.

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona shinigeass96 (not hoot42) that EA account uses the same email that is on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword (put the swtor email in the link) then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
I dont know what shinigease96 is. Hoot42 is the only persona I've used for 10 years. I believe my account was hacked about 5 years ago by this person.

I tried resetting my password on EA twice ([edit: email address removed]) and try to purchase myself a subscription but kept giving me maintenance error or try to press redeem code, says EA unable to manage payment and billing...something like that.
My username is TheConsultingSH on Swtor. I made this account in 2013. I went to go my EA account and selected connection, nothing there. So I don't know to make my swtor account connected to my EA?
I just want to subscribe and play.
I have been having a similar problem where when i've been trying to resubscribe to swtor the website keeps saying that it is under maintenance when it is clearly not my swtor username is gbmb
- @proxos666 Hi, thanks for you help! They did add the 60 days with the paypal one, but did not refund the other transaction on the mastercard..

The mastercard transaction will be refunded , there can be a delay as they need to wait for that transaction to say closed in their system, so it has been added to the refund queue

have flagged , however it will be monday before i have a response.
most common issue is the linked ea account needs a password reset , if you put any emails used on your swtor account into the below link and reset the password , one of them may be correct
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword
once you do that it is best to use incognito mode on chrome to be sure the browser cache and cookies arent caching the maint page
