Had this issue since ~February, ditched it back then and coming back again now to fix it for good.
Attempting to resubscribe using an already added card results in a purchase error:
An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later. {0}
Attempting to add a new, different card results in error as well:
We're sorry, but we can't perform transactions to this credit card. Please load a different one.
Been trying out some troubleshooting steps from both here and other forum threads regarding similar issues to no avail, really hoping there's still a way to fix this.

Support have asked if you can stop any further purchase attempts , seems the account has to be sent to the fraud team to get unblocked
Swtor support will email you when the issue has been cleared , unfortunately i do not have a timeframe on when this will be

It's quite all right, I'm in no rush and you guys can take all the time you need with this
