I've recently decided to get back on SWTOR for a bit to check out the new patch content, but as soon as I get to character select, then click literally ANYWHERE on the screen, it crashes. I can't even get in game to report a problem. And you've decided to get rid of Support Emailing, as far as I can tell, which is a mistake. So, I'm posting here, after reinstalling SWTOR and it still having the issue. I just want to play TOR. Help.EDIT: Just fyi. This is still a problem for me. Not sure about the others who posted that this was messing up for them as well. The only "fix" is hitting Alt+Enter on start up to force it into windowed mode, then changing it back to Windowed Borderless once in game. Very annoying. Not sure if it's solely Bioware's problem, or Microsoft's Creator Update. Hopefully the next updates from either fix it.

Known issues in the spoiler Spoiler (Highlight to read) Known Issues Radeon WattMan may fail to apply settings on some Radeon R9 390 series graphics products. Radeon Settings may crash on switching Windows® user after toggling AMD CrossFire™ technology mode. A small amount of apps may still experience issues with Borderless Fullscreen mode and AMD FreeSync™ technology if other applications or game launchers are running on the primary screen in the background. Counter-Strike™: Global Offensive and World of Warcraft™ may experience flickering or performance issues the first time the game is launched on a system boot with AMD FreeSync™ technology enabled. Workarounds include exiting and restarting the application or task switching (alt+tab) in and out of the game to fix the issue. Known Issues for Radeon ReLive The XBOX™ DVR application may cause conflicts with Radeon ReLive, users are suggested to disable XBOX™ DVR if Radeon ReLive is experiencing issues. @Owlbehr For you ensure you are not tabbing away from swtor until fully loaded in also try playing in windows(fullscreen) and see if this persists

Having same issue, on character select screen it always crashes now on the first attempt. Always works on the second attempt. I found if I have other windows open -dual monitors- I have to have everything minimized to reduce the freezing but always freezes on first launch. I'll provide directX report when it happens on next crash. Side note - I just updated to Windows 10 Creator update, not sure if that has impact or not since its a large update.

I'm pretty sure it's because of Windows 10 Creator update. I've experienced the same thing 2day after updating - crash on 1st attempt and successful login on 2nd attempt. And yday and before it was completely fine.

Yep,. sounds like you have my issue and that is a common factor so far. Not sure if original poster has the new update.

Does 381.78 found at this link have any affect ? this does have some temp and dual screen desktop fixes included.

if playing in fullscreen does fullscreen(window) do the same if the driver alone does not help

Right. Sorry! XD Can't read. lol I made sure not to tab out or click anything till it was loaded into the Character Select screen. Still crashes once I click on anything within the game.
