Swtor Gone seriously wrong!

This is what I called pancaked companion issue, this is also related to a 90% game halt on load (same issue different symptom)..

The solution is the same as here

make the changes below and you will be gold, known issue "cough"

(Below is for Windows 10 other versions will be similar)

Press the Windows key and select settings

Go into Time and language, select region and language on the left

Click additional date, time & regional settings

Under region click the link for change date, time and number formats

Click additional settings at the bottom

ensure . is decimal symbol and , is digit grouping symbol

Want currency to display as $ 1,000.00

What video card and driver are you using? Have you made adjustments to your graphics settings either lower or higher?

Delete the DiskCacheArena file under the swtor directory.

If that doesn't work, you can also try running a repair:

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pull down on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.

I double, even triple checked it but it does not work. please explain why it would work? and now my launcher is stuck on patching ''complete''

Stuck on patching complete is likely due to the Bitraider Mini Support Stub Loader Service isn't running.

Back to the pancake game play

What language is set in windows and does the below image look like yours ? for the digit spacing and grouping this is known to cause this exact issue.

Have you pressed reset via resetting settings in Control Panel->Region->Advanced settings at Number and Currency tabs ?
