SWTOR Security key issues, can't log in

See this link, it will lead to the directions to remove the key as well

basically go to www.swtor.com and enter just the username and password and leave the key blank, the link to remove should be on the next screen

tip: if you write down the number that the swtor website provides on setup, it can be entered into other devices to get them working as well

I did this and I can log in now, thanks, but I would still like to have a functioning security key for my account. I tried to set a new one up, and when it asks me to type in the code showing on my phone, it says ''Sorry, we couldn't find your serial number. Try again?'' So it seems like for some reason, whether it be to log in or just to set up, the codes on my phone aren't synced to the codes that are supposed to be on my account.

You can try using google authentication as well as TOTP

Ensure that the time on the phone is synched/correct

Just to be certain once you get the one time email you are getting the serial key from www.swtor.com and entering that into the app and then entering the key generated on the app back onto www.swtor.com

Same result with google authenticator, ''Sorry, we couldn't find your serial number. Try again?''

I don't know what you mean by making sure the time is synced, but the clock on my phone is the same as the one on my PC.

Guess so, hope it's not too expensive. Thanks for the help.

if it helps and you have skype, See db woodynz post here on how to use skype if you have it.

Using skype with that contact is a free call to the best of my knowledge, that number is only available as per the hours listed (Support available from 9.00 CT - 21.00 CT) so need to confirm time zone etc.

Hello, when I tried to log in leaving the key blank empty, they ask me for my SC, but there is NOT any possibility that says: "Lost your security key?'

Try another browser.  I currently use Google chrome and I see the link.  Make sure any add ons are disabled, clear cookies and cache.

If it is still not working you will need to call customer service as per the above information.to have them manually remove the security key.

Still can not log in and tne ''skype'' call do not answer... :-( I don't know what to do... Can this problem be fix by another internet connection? Thanks for the help...😃
