"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account" error message. Help?

Question

Hello. I keep getting the message "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance." when I try to redeem a code for the Special Forces Armor on SWTOR.com. I've double checked and even rest my EA account password, but I've been unable to get a fix. Any ideas?

likely there is another ea account and its disabled, the linked ea account is likely using the same email address used to create the swtor account originally

If need give swtor support a call when the lines are open and they can help resolve this for you
