unable to change guild member note

I have posted and in game ticket 3 weeks ago and a bug report for the same issue. ticket # 21423005

I am unable to change my guild member note on any of my republic characters, my imperial characters are fine and work well.

I have made sure I am of a guild rank that is able to do this and I have had my character at all ranks except guild leader, I have had this issue for a very long time and is really starting to bug me now.

I don't believe it to be an issue on my PC as it is a fresh install after a HDD format, plus is only affecting my 11 republic characters.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Few years back there was a bug that if a ; was entered in the guild note , it could never be edited again ...... not saying this has resurfaced but it maybe something similar.

    Way to clear it back then for that character was get booted , re-invited then promoted

    I will give that a go but strange it would happen to every character on the repub side.  I will post here if fixed or not.
