Players theorycrafting doesn't make CG money. There's a beancounter in charge who's only concern is seeing revenue increase. Their foolish plan is to sell us an advantage in RNG by making ridiculously stupid OP datacrons to spend money to buy. They can't even deny that at this point with the extreme decrease of getting materials from expiration and not being able to get certain materials in worthwhile amounts unless we buy them.
That same decision-maker doesn't play the game, they hide behind their desk from players, and don't concern themselves with player feedback, only dollars. I'm quite sure there are those at CG who realize how utterly stupid datacrons are and see how demoralizing datacrons have become to players. But, they aren't in charge and don't get to make the decision.
Datacrons suck, they are OP garbage, and at this point just need to go away. There is no balance in them, only the expectation we will buy the stupid garbage. (Of course some will no matter what, but not for long.)
I feel like Set 5 might be less extreme, but then if a set 6 makes it to the game, that will be another OP extreme set of rubbish.
Fix your game CG and turn off this silly stupid OP garbage.
