That's not what this will be used for... No one is giving away gear, there's a gear bottleneck!
The purpose is transferring the gear from alt to their main account, that's obvious and the only real reason to "give" away purple gear
My bad, I should have put salvage. As in you need 48 more to do anything with them. Not 2 whole pieces of gear.
You could easily help a whole guild collect gear, but not really on an individual basis.
