14.1M GP account permanently banned for “repeat offenses” with no explanation

Hello,
Today, August 19, 2026, my long-standing STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes account was permanently banned without any specific explanation.

Player name: Nox
Ally Code: 437-814-459
GP: approximately 14.1M
Roster: 9 Galactic Legends and all Capital Ships
SWGOH.GG: https://swgoh.gg/p/437814459/

The only message I received in-game was:
“This account is banned from playing due to repeat offenses.”

I have not been told what these alleged “repeat offenses” are, when they supposedly occurred, what category of rule violation is involved, or what activity on my account resulted in a permanent ban.

This is an account I have played for many years and into which I have invested a very significant amount of time and money. I understand and support action against genuine cheating, exploits, harassment, or other rule violations. However, a permanent account ban is an extremely serious action, and I believe a player should at least be given enough information to understand what they are accused of and to meaningfully challenge a possible mistake.

I have already submitted the official SWGOH Ban Appeal Form today and requested that the account activity and enforcement decision be manually reviewed.

I am also concerned that my account may have been subjected to coordinated or malicious reports by other players in connection with competitive rankings or rewards. I am not claiming that this is proven or that it definitely caused the ban. I am simply asking CG/EA to verify whether unusual reporting activity influenced the enforcement decision and, if so, whether the underlying account activity was independently reviewed.

I am not asking for confidential anti-cheat methods, internal detection systems, or the identity of anyone who may have reported the account.

I am asking for:
A genuine manual review of the account activity.
Verification of the alleged “repeat offenses.”
Clarification of the general category of violation being alleged.
Restoration of the account if the enforcement decision was made in error.

For an account of this age and size, a generic message saying “repeat offenses” with no meaningful explanation is extremely concerning.

If a CG/EA representative sees this, I would greatly appreciate having the case reviewed by the appropriate enforcement team.

If other players have experienced a similar sudden permanent ban with the same generic “repeat offenses” message, I would also be interested in hearing about your experience.

Thank you.

It's the set response.  If you have cheated you may have only cheated once, but most likely cheated more than this (if you did cheat).

Nor will you.  They do not give out this information.  Though as this comes from CG, it's probably not harassment.

If an account has benefited for cheating, there's no reversing that benefit.  Furthermore, as there are PvP elements this account which has benefited from cheating interacts with other players' accounts.  This cannot be allowed.  Therefore, accounts that have cheated get no second chance.

I very much doubt that the reports were due to doing well and somebody reporting you.  This isn't really a productive avenue.  What could have happened is that someone has looked at what you have done in the past, have come to the conclusion that you have cheated and reported you with the data.

This is all you can do.  We presume that such bans are manually reviewed.

    1. Hopefully that will happen.  We believe this does happen.
    2. This definitely will not happen.
    3. This also will definitely not happen.
    4.  This also happens if a mistake has been made.

A few things that may be informative.  There is a 'catch a cheaters' discord.  They may have more information on the matter (if you've been reported for cheating) for you.  Also, CG/EA have clamped down on players systematically sharing accounts to get around the ToS and purchasing from the website behind an IP.  These may also apply to your ban.

  • Well according to the catch a cheater discord, the era and loaned levels on your characters are nowhere near high enough to score as high as you did against the krayt dragon, so an auto-ban was triggered.

From what I've seen people are getting a different message when the ban is triggered by the coliseum scores. It specifically states that you are banned for cheating in the coliseum.

If you look through posts on this forum there are most definitely a large number of false bans being given out automatically that are then reversed later.

This was my feeling too.  However, that may be an automatic trigger only.  If this player was reported and banned manually, then they might get the standard message.

I briefly skimmed through GAC.  I saw a JML battle that I thought looked suspicious.  There was no datacron listed and I'm not sure how it could have been done without a certain datacron.

Like a forum post from a few days earlier, I'm not quite sure what's going on.  I feel there's a couple of pieces of the jigsaw missing to really sit one side of the fence or the other...not that it matters a jot what we think.

I reported this guy in game and on the TCAC discord because his loaned units are Lvl 47 and his MJS and SODA are lvl75 but 4star only and he beat Tier 7 of Krayt.....somehow

Considering much higher loaned units dont even survive opening spit its not possible when you factor several people below him have 7star 75s and loaned units Lvl 68.  To add to that he beat Tier7 and specifically chose not to touch Tier 8 because he knew it would put him on the Global leaderboard and expose him to more than just his Shard.

  • The OP doesn't seem to actually deny cheating it just looks like he wants to know how he was caught

Its so obvious he cheated in colliseum he just thought by not getting mass reported because he avoided doing Tier 8 attempts to stay off global leaderboad he could avoid a ban but his whole shard saw it and reported it.

I think he takes issue with the repeated violations cause maybe it was his first time cheating lol but I think thats just the canned CG banned message lol.  You dont get freebies.  Imagine if everyone who cheated got multiple strikes.....
