5* Holdo and Rose needed multiple times in today’s platoons? Why? [MERGE]

As stated above, when they can only be at 5* by spending real dollars!! Thanks for another guaranteed platoons failure EA/CG . Not all that different to Battlefront 2’s failed launch and bad press it’s recieved. I adore this game, but sometimes it really sucks.

Yelling how evil it is every new toon kit has not made an impact to the design (WAI) as you mention. So im engaging in dialogue with new ideas beyond how it must stop, is greedy, and is broken beyond disaster.

Call it a new first step? =) like i said talking is not promises but without that, your right nothing will change

@Vampire_X nobody is crying evil. All we are doing is asking for actual responses to our feedback. Like I said earlier, mods responding and engaging is refreshing. But the types of response from the devs we want is an actual response outside of “recruit people that have these toons.” We want some sort of comprise. I actually saw this in a post just a little bit ago.

It doesn't help to progress a dialog by denying the forums typically view CG and EA as the 'evil empire'. Vx is reaching out, politely, and your response is disingenuous as you try to invalidate her point of view. The forums ARE toxic towards CG / EA. A blind person reading these posts can see that. Come on man!

I’m not talking about the forums as a whole. I’m talking about this particular post. In this particular post nobody is crying out about a cash grab for rose and Holdo. Nobody is crying evil. What we are crying out about is a clearly broken platoon system in TB. There have been quite a few suggestions about how to fix it, one that I quoted and is actually a very good idea that has balance in its structure. Nobody is invalidating her responses and nobody is acting like she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Disgreeements happen in conversations. That’s what moves them and drives them. Get off the potty pot man. If she had an issue with what anyone was saying I’m sure that she would speak out and tell us to stay on track.

As for the rest of the forums being toxic, what are they toxic about? Bugs? Release cadences? Character release structure? Changes to game modes? Transparency of upcoming events? You tell me. Perhaps it’s not a problem that is solely on the shoulders of those posting on the forums but the developers of the game not being as communicable as the community would like and expects.

I don't feel challenged by your response, and I stand by what I said.

I am starting to hate this game because of platoons.

I find funny how 95% of their effort is put in finding new ways to force people to spend money and in turning the game to a Pay to Play.

Here is a reference in this post about CG grabbing at cash.
  • Quick update and rarely post from mobile - lets keep it on topics as part of the problem in being heard is making it about personal things

The cash element is in regards to posting about the cost of things in every single context or alot of the complaints to a multitude of subjects which Huckle has a point and and why I made the observation about this context in the start of the this conversation, as it was refrenced in the early posts.

Also raven has a very strong point about ways in which using new tunes and cats that are free or paid can be done better which is one of the reasons I wanted to engage on this topic was to look at the idea and also crossed some of the boundaries of just simply bashing the team and have things that consensus can go forward with another topics as well so while it’s not specific to this topic alone

Just because something hasn’t changed doesn’t mean the people aren’t listening and while it’s frustrating to Many and we can blame each other for all of the problems the reality is that it’s usually somewhere in the middle no it’s never truly all evil or all good there are factors that affect us and factors that affect you the things that make the decision and things that do not at the end of the day when someone is actively listening and asking questions and engaging in conversations is A positive sign and hope to keep it moving on this and other items.

Promise wont be the last topic i jump in on this month :)

OK, apparently you want to take things out of context to fit your own narrative. Vampire talked about a cash grab for Rose and Holdo. Nobody talked about that. What people have been talking about is a push for more pay to play content rather than the old model of pay to win. As myself, and many others have said the idea of whales and big spenders getting first dibs is totally OK. It has been OK since the inception of this game. Paying for premium content upfront is not a big deal. If someone pays for a New character they should be able to use them in every facet of the game.

Now here is where I need you to pay attention a little bit. The majority of posters on this topic, have made clear that they simply do not want characters that were just released days prior and have no way of being farmed to be added to platoon which caps the ability of a guild to finish the later stages of territory battles. As I said before a couple people on this forum post have made great suggestions on how to balance it out. If you choose to keep ignoring that to push your narrative that is fine. It’s unfortunate that you don’t see the logic behind with myself and many others are saying. But if you want to stay on the pity pot, and think that all we are doing is bashing vampire, then there’s nothing that I can do for you. Like I said before, if that is all we were doing vampire would have spoken up and either close this thread, would have warned us to stay on topic, or taking any appropriate action that she deems necessary.

I have nothing against your pov. As a matter of fact, I agree. I prefer things be civilized, and that was when I interjected because I appreciate what Vx is saying and doing on behalf of the entire community.

Well we never disagreed that it was good that Vampire was involved in the post. Kinda went off the rails when you said we were attacking her and that we were negating her points. Myself and anyone that is sincere in making the game better are happy that mods are engaging in this discussion because if they see something that benefits the game that can pass it on to Devs like kozi

It's really hard to have a conversation when you don't read what I wrote, and quote me on things I never said. My comments were more nuanced than that. O well... Live and let live I suppose. I think you mean well, so I'll give you that. Have a great day bud!
  • I personally find it annoying that, on these forums, communication has been delegated to a group of unpaid volunteers that really have no insight into past, current, or future development, beyond what everyone else has.
