Yeah, everyone was assuming that this would follow the same model of previous capital ship releases. I mean that's our fault for assuming - but why would we be looking for it to be different? CG didn't mention this anywhere - it was obviously a mistake because otherwise, what's even the point of the 1250 packs? I'm not MAD that I ended up spending more than people hitting 7* today, but I would certainly be ok with being refunded the difference. Feels like that would be the right thing to do. If they don't, it's whatever - I was expecting to spend the money/crystals - but it would be a good faith gesture and those are always appreciated.
If all they did was fix the bugs - I'd walk away happy. How happy I am is directly proportional to how long it takes them to fix those bugs and how many of them they actually fix. The list seems to be growing as more people experiment with it and find more issues.
