Here is a wild idea: If CG implements something "new" they haven't done before, why not make an official announcement in game? So every player knows about it and things like this can be avoided.

As far as I know the only occurence where we have a button with a timer is arena (10 minutes), nowhere else.
It seems not to be a bug because this refresh has to be coded in (an event) and specified (12 hours)
Lots of events have a timer.
Again not a button that refreshes with a timer.
We are talking about a button here with a refresh timer on it not just an event that ends after an amount of time - two different things.
Again this is not the first time
