I like the idea.
There are too few nice synergies in the game. These would (in my opinion) add an extra dimension without ruining the meta. The idea of friend, lover, enemy, brother, parent, comrade,master:pupil,clan can add interesting dimensions.
Luke and Vader - are they stronger together or weaker (or both +health -attack).
The possibilities are endless and a very good idea.
