Unbalanced ship synergy

Why is there such an imbalance in synergy with this intial release of ships? You have:

6 Republic
3 Sepratists
3 Resistance
3 Rebels
1 Scoundrel
1 Empire (Not counting the x1, because I doubt I will score high enough to earn it)

I need more empire for my team! You could put EP and RG in a lambda class shuttle!

Also why didnt we get the IG 2000?

Luke needs his X-Wing too. And the Han/Chewie Millennium Falcon.

Also, Leia for fleet captain of the Resistance. Do it!

We have to get a new version of Luke, Leia and Chewie for those Ideas.

The current Luke would Have a T-16 Skyhopper.

The Han/Chewie falcon won't happen unless they release a new version of chewbacca.

How is that different than the Falcon? Or the U-Wing? Which is primarily a troop transport.

That would be neat. It's also one of the few feasible Imperial options given the available characters we have.

Didnt see the U-Wing in movies yet, but Falcon demonstrated some good fighting abilities.

I think we should get the Palpatine-shuttle but have it have no abilities of its own. Instead, it turns around and its back opens to let a space-suit clad Palpatine fire space-lightning at the enemy ships when its turn starts.

The game has potential for 3 MF, as long as Chewie EPIV and Nien Nunb are introduced.
Collecting the 3 Millenium Falcons could even be an achievement.
