Jolee Bindo - Kenobi synergy

Maybe it would have been too cheesy if the mechanics worked the way you suggest.

There are other Jedi tanks.

How can they do this? How can one be a healer and not be granted ability to trigger mass assist?

I'm not as concerned about Jolee and GK's lead, myself. It is an annoyance, but not as big a deal as the other issue between Jolee and GK...

Jolee's zeta, which revives defeated Jedi, grants them Crit Immunity for 5 turns. Crit Immunity means they can't be crit, obviously. With nobody getting crit, GK can't taunt. GK is a tank, and you want/need him to be taunting! Moreover, with nobody getting crit, Barriss' zeta won't work. So Jolee's zeta means that GK and Barriss don't work as you need them to. That is a much bigger issue than the issue of Jolee's heal not triggering the mass assist, IMO

(although I do agree that if the team is all Jedi, and the whole team is healed, then it IS a team heal, and it should trigger a mass assist)

But really, say for example GMY is revived from Jolee's zeta (this is a zeta we are talking about here!), with only 80% health and crit immunity. GMY will be focussed down, while GK is standing there incapable of protecting him. So the revive, and the zeta, was wasted. Much bigger issue, IMO.

That said, making points like these in the forums yields nothing, so @Ninjah9, nothing will come of it (except the standard same few people that will come in to defend whatever CG does)

Does every toon have to work with every other toon in the faction? I would say no, especially in one as large as jedi. Never saw anyone complaining like mad when savages zeta didnt work with a nihilus lead. Its exactly the same thing. You have to make a choice of who you want in your team and use them.as effectively aa possible.

Make 2 teams.
He’s much better with old Ben anyway.

@SoylentGreen: they claim because his ability only heals jedi that it's not a true team heal and therefore doesnt trigger the kenobi swarm ability.

@Shonkathonk: I'm not saying everybody has to have synergy with everyone. Nobody complained about savage and nihilus because the sith are already stacked as far as OP abilities. We've been so conditioned to accept how op the sith are compared to the jedi that there are literally people freaking out because the jedi got a tenacity boost??? The jedi have only slightly been able to hold their ground because of team synergy. After having to deal with how op the sith were over the jedi for so long, and then finally getting one of my favorite characters and having them specifically nerf his synergy with kenobi (one of the very few reasons to even have a healer at higher levels) was just too annoying to ignore. It makes me want to completely pass on investing in this character and it should be fixed. There's just no legitimate reason to take it away, especially when he is a jedi healer that heals the whole team (if all are jedi) precisely what the kenobi lead requires have the swarm effect.

You are completely correct that Bindu's heal won't trigger it.
The reason is that it's not a team heal!
It heals one ally, and then all other Jedi.

I don't think it's deliberately designed not to trigger GK's Leader Ability.
The wording indicates that the mechanic is simply not fitting the necessary parameters.

Now I also understand why HYoda's Basic doesn't trigger the mass attack: It leaves out HYoda himself. :)

If Yoda gets focused down, that means Yoda is taking multiple hits to go down.

That's better than if he didn't have crit immunity, and got dropped again in one good crit, or a crit and an AoE.

You probably don't want the person you just rez'd to eat a crit before you have the chance to help them recover.

Also, you're unlikely to be reviving your entire team in one go. If you are, you're in Hail Mary territory anyways.

The most likely person to be rez'd is probably Kenobi himself, as he is the tank and he's supposed to take the beating, so crit immunity will help him stick around.

There are two sides to the crit immunity. It isn't outright bad with General Kenobi, and if you really don't like it, just use Old Ben instead.

Even if it did affect Yoda, it wouldn't trigger Kenobi lead because the mass assist is triggered by team healing specials. Not basics.
