That would make it too easy to complete a contract. The point of it isn’t a guaranteed boost for the team, but bonuses you unlock if you play strategy right
Taunt ignore would be a good idea and a needed boost. BHs don't have a lot of dispel options, so getting stuck behind a taunt can severely limit the power of a BH team. Not that BHs are very useful in the meta, mind you, but there are situational uses (R1 on defense->BH food).
Also, OG Mando's contract should be activated if a Mandalorian (other than himself) is the leader (like Jango's contract under a Sep leader). It would give Mando instant relevance in the meta again and would introduce some theory crafting for BKM and Maul squads.
But that would give a BKM squad on instakill right off the bat, which seems a little extreme considering how well the team holds up as it is, especially in GAC. Not every old unit has to have a meta. I recall the recent thread about why a squad of old JV characters doesn't do too hot in the raid without the newer toons, and that's because they're old characters as folks like MasterSeedy rightfully pointed out.
Point being, it's nice but not necessary for older units to be given a boost that launches them straight up the meta, unless it's from something temporary like an FDC.
