St Han taunting won't always trigger a Rebel attack, as St Han has a chance to reduce enemy TM. If this triggers, it counts as an "attack", and prevents Ackbar's Rebel Coordination. This isn't a bug, it's WAI.
STHan taunt does not have a chance to reduce enemy TM? What are you talking about? STHan's taunt gives all other allies 30% TM instantly. That is all (and if STHan is attacked, it gives all other allies 20% TM). STHan has no way of reducing enemy TM except through his unique, which triggers at the start of a turn, not when he uses an ability.
regardless, it could still count as an attack that turn, wich it apparantly does.
Then they need to reword Ackbar's special. It doesn't say "doesn't attack", it says "uses an ability that isn't an attack".
he uses his unique ability, wich counts as an attack. I'm not saying it's worded perfectly, but it could be interpreted in this manner.
I dissagree. The unique — even if it counts as an attack — should not prevent AA's leader ability to kick in and call a rebel to assist. AA's leader ability reads "...whenever an ally uses an ability, that isn't an attack..." it doesn't read: "...whenever an ally ends a turn without having used an ability, that is an attack...".
Hence, if both an attack ability and a non—attack ability is activated a rebel should be called to assist.
However, I don't believe uniques trigger a rebel assist at all under AA lead. It would have crazy consequenses, if f.ex. Biggs would call a rebel to assist, whenever he gains 100% TM from his unique (which is clearly not an attack). Just think about it. A quadrupple attack (rebel assist followed by Biggs' special)."vessaharja;857711" wrote:
So someone summarize. Long thread. Is this valid or is OP just a no good noob?
Hold your horses, there. Leadership abilities should persist after death. If it doesn't it's a bug and OP is right.
(Haven't tested to verify it myself)"Henchman805;858004" wrote:

This is getting off point. The point isn't rebels should attack when a unique ability is triggered.
The point is after akbar dies, when an ally uses a non-attack, the OP is saying no rebel assist is called.
Akbar leader ability should remain after he dies, if it doesn't it's a bug it's not Wai. Case closed.
...and then people begin discussing wether ST Han's unique could have prevented the rebel assist, which could mean that there is no bug. I disagree for the reasons in my comments.
How is this off point, again?"thestud2012;858136" wrote:
I altered my strategy after losing faith in his leadership ability. I've never seen it fail in Arena. It fails all the time in Mod Challenges. Special events are iffy. Regardless of STH situation, it was failing for me when Princess Leia used her stealth ability. Ackbar was usually still alive. Now I use Wedge lead.
This ... I ran old school rebels (AA, Leia, StHan, HRScout) + QGJ in arena as my arena team for a long time. Never once saw it fail there, but it fails often in other game modes"benacrow;856726" wrote:

Ackbar''s Leadership skill was not a Zeta, and it persisted after his death, now when he dies the "fire after non-attack move" buff goes with him, and that needs to be fixed asap!
After he died, did you have any more rebel allies with non-attacks left to not attack and call a rebel ally?
Yeah, it was a full rebel squad. Ackbar, Leah, Lando, Chewie, and Rebel Pilot dude. It was fine until that update. Then boom it just stopped working."kaligula;856753" wrote:
Where does this nonsense come from? First test then write
I did test dickface, why do you think I posted it. Go f yourself- Wow, a guy goes on vacation and all of a sudden he's full of it. My answer to Benacrow is the team composition. It always gave me the extra move no matter the team build before, it's just extra efficient with all rebs. I've even run Ackbar with Dark Side teams, so long as a non-attack move popped, his ability proc'ed, even after death. Now, it no longer does, to this day it doesn't anymore. So I guess my request for a repair fell on deaf ears.
